About

She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pedagogy and Primary Education, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and adjunct faculty at the Hellenic Open University for “Greek Philosophy and Science: From Antiquity to the 20th Century.” She holds degrees in Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology (BA), History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (MSc), a PhD in Sociology, and a postgraduate certificate in Adult and Distance Education. She is Corresponding Member of the International Academy of History of Science, Vice President of the Hellenic National Committee of the DHST/IUHPS, former Secretary of the Inter-Divisional Teaching Commission, and serves on editorial boards for Journal of Critical Education Policy Studies and Critical Education. She has published over 120 papers, authored the monograph Science and Political Commitment: Twentieth Century Histories (2021), and edited several collective volumes.

Research Interests

Her research focuses on history of science, critical and cultural studies of science and education, with emphasis on gender and social justice.
